Damaged Chief was the form The Chief took when he was in a coma thanks to an explosive that Richard Short placed under Tag's Kart in order to sabotage it and its boom box. The boom box did not directly damage chief, but rather caused many objects to fall on top of him, such as a large toolbox and 2-post vehicle lift.
He was riding a Wheelchair and had one of his eyes covered with bandages and the other was uncovered and strangely open. The Chief was obviously sleeping, but for some reasons unknown, he had his one eye stay that way. He has tape bandages over his body, and around his arm and leg as well.
